The Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) will organise an extensive "HKU Career Fair 2024" taking place over five consecutive days, from 22 to 26 January.
This event will feature the participation of more than 170 companies and organisations from a diverse range of sectors, including business, consultancy, finance, technology, and government.
As the largest career fair ever organised by HKU, the HKU Career Fair 2024 aims to provide invaluable information and a wide array of career options to support the future career development of HKU students as they prepare to enter the job market.
Throughout the event, HKU undergraduate and postgraduate students will have the opportunity to connect with participating companies and organisations, submit their CV, and explore potential job matches.
In addition, associating with the Policy Address 2023 on relaxing the part-time employment restrictions for non-local postgraduate students, specialised sessions are tailored to offer insights on job search strategies in Hong Kong, the process of applying for work visas, with first-hand experiences shared by non-local alumni regarding their own job searches and employment.
An opening ceremony to kick-start the HKU Career Fair 2024 will be held on 22 January (Monday). Professor Samson Tse, Dean of Student Affairs, will officiate at the event. Details are as follows:
Date: 22 January (Monday)
