HKU will host the Equal Opportunity Festival 2018 from October 25 to November 10 with the theme Racial Harmony and Cultural Diversity and the slogan “Let’s Celebrate Harmony, Integration and Diversity!”. A series of event including talks, training sessions, exhibitions, seminars, and book exhibition will be held during the period.

An opening ceremony will be held on October 25 (Thursday). Professor Alfred Chan, Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission, and Mr. Jeffrey Andrews, a social worker with Christian Action, will be the Guests of Honour. An inauguration ceremony for the Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors will also be held on the occasion.
